Rochester Yoga In The Park has joined forces with Grow & Go Yoga to provide yoga for kids at Ontario Beach Park (180 Beach Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612) this summer. Classes will be held on the beach in front of the Robach Community Center. Kids classes will be held Sundays from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on June 29, July 13, July 27, and August 10th.
In addition to the regularly scheduled classes, the team has partnered to provide two special events, including a Family Sunrise Yoga class August 2nd from 6:00-7:00 a.m. at Ontario Beach Park, and Family Yoga July 13th from 2:00-3:15 p.m. at Rothfuss Park.
“We are excited to provide children’s yoga on the beach this summer,” says Jennifer Morgan, Founder & Co-Owner of Rochester Yoga In The Park. Morgan adds, “We wanted to be mindful of parents busy schedules, so we scheduled our kids classes so that parents can drop off their kids to yoga with Grow & Go’s Shaina Olton, and take my Open-Level yoga class during the same time only a few feet away on the beach.” Olton, Owner of Grow & Go Yoga adds, “Not only are we providing these yoga classes, but the special events will be a great experience for families to come out and enjoy the weather together.”
Regularly scheduled classes and the Kids Sunset Yoga passes are $11 per child and are capped at 20 children. Ages 5-12 are welcome. Family Yoga class passes are $15 per person, and children under 3 are free. All ages are welcome.
